4 out of the 5 children in my house need to attend summer school. Was wondering but definitely not comparing.

I was close but i pulled it off right in the last quarter. There was no way I was going to miss out on skiing and boating

Good job. It is amazing what people can do when they apply themselves. Once I am doing with this masters degree (only 4 weeks left), I am going to party that weekend and have fun.... Knowing that I don't have to do any more homework.

Its amazing... i get more motivation from myself when I want to do something then when someone is yelling at me for something I have to do. Im not sure if that made sense..

Being in the Marine Corps a long time ago, I can understand where you are coming from. I had Drill Instructors yelling in my face but I did it because I was scared of what woud result from not performing what they wanted me to do. However, if your dad yells at you, I am sure you reach in some form.

Do what you have fun doing. If that is skiing or boarding, as long as you have fun doing it. I can't wait until my oldest son (7) learns how to board. I am thinking and trying to convince him that there is more to boating than tubing but he has sooooo much fun doing that.

Tubing is fun every now and then but too much and it gets old real fast.

We have a family reunion every year and all my little cousins want to do is tube. Are we going tubing? when are we going tubing? please can we go tubing? Its very boring to watch and isnt very interactive...

Ah, that is when you put some stupid older cousins into the tube and throw them out violently. Then the younger ones think twice about getting into it. However, my son has figured out that I drive a lot slower than I do with the older children and now the older children have realize it also. Damn, I can win if I try. I am just glad my youngest loves to have the wind in his face and he laughs when it happens. That is my true joy.

Im the second oldest there... my sister is older and never goes, most of my cousins on that side are 8 n younger

Well, that is to young to throw out of the tube. If they were your age, then you could do it and it would be funny to watch.
