ok, you think I should pick up a speaker box off ebay for my 12's, or get one the manufactur made for the 12's? I have to take the carpet off either one, and have it bed lined=40 dollars. price diff is about 150. and the quality of the manufactured one is prorbably better.

I would price it out and see what will fit the boat. Whatever is cheaper and easier wins.

There are spec on subs and the specs outline the size box that they should be in. Now, that is my opinion and I don't know any different.

well one spec for my subs says 2.0 cubic feet, the other says 2.4 cubic feet. the boxes I had designs to build were 2.0. Guess I need to figure it out, as the ebay one's are 2.0 cubic feet.
