well you picked the nail on the head. same city, pay is more base, more bonus, no stock but cheaper to live, closer to all fam etc, different work, but for sure a lot less travel

The more pay will make up for the no stock option. So, the pay itself is evened out. But, the bonus' are nice to have and that is where you will see your increase in pay..... So, I say go but then again, what about your house? Would the new company be willing to help you out with that?
but also getting a grand a month for a car allowance and I wouldn't be traveling at all, and my mom said I could live in her 2500 house that they are moving out of for free until I sell mine (They just bought a 6k house that could be on cribs )

10K is okay but 100K, I would have to say no on the move then. But if you can get a bonus for the next three years to cover the 100K, then you might be okay still. My rule of thumb is a three year deal. If you can pay or have more money in a three year period than your current job, then it's good. But, there are some that will say 5 years....
