    I think so. Or they even added some back in after distillation. It is still 80 proof, so it is no sugary froo-froo sipper, (like malibu coconut rum, which is real good too) but it is full of real good flavor...

    Now I am under 850 posts away from Dom... could be a huge whoring week after work for me to catch him. Then when he returns, he will definitely get back to the top again in no time.

    Wonder if the sugar was completely turned to alcohol.... Probably some of the molasses was left over during the firmentation process.

    I have to say this, albeit with caution. Go get a bottle of Cruzan Black Strap Navy Rum and try it if you like dark rum for drinking.

    I try real hard to not be that guy who insists that everything he tries is the best, but have to share that I really like the stuff. It has a very rich taste, without being all spicy like Capt. Morgan. You can sort of taste the molasses it was made from...

    hum... sounds like that would be good... Wonder if you can substitue the tequila for white rum.....
