It isn't any more secure than any other browser. The majority of the world uses IE as their browser and the hackers/virus writers know this so they develop ways to get into the browser and take advantage of it.

Yeah that brave sentry thing blocked out IE, it kept giving me this page is not available stuff.

It was pretty well built. A message kept telling me that I had spyware and windows was installing an up to date virus protector, which i thought was suspicous and this BS comes up so I tried to uninstall and it was telling me its in high priority mode and cant be deleted. So i went to the source and I tried to delete there, told me user access was denied, so i hopped on google and found out it was a form of malware and blah blah. Tried a couple things to get rid of it, finally did now my computer freezes.

How deep of delete did you go???? I hope you didn't delete the NT32 Kernel...... That would be bad.... You would have to reinstall everything again....

i went to program files and tried to delete the folder that said brave sentry. I have no idea what that nt32 kernel is and i hope i never find it.

And that computer used to run windows ME, but it got a virus and we went and deleted a bunch of stuff and screwed up the whole thing, so we upgraded the whole thing to xp and its been running close to normal, until this.

Well, looks like it might be frozen because it is trying to process something. Just turn on the computer and go back to the computer when you can. Should be okay then.

Yeah i manually shut it down probably too many times. Im sure that didnt help

Nope but it should be okay. Now, that is if you took the virus off correctly and the boot is trying to reinstall the virus. That is totally possible also.

Well it did a disk checkup and seems to be fine.
