So, long story short, have to order a new bar with nuts that fit the bar. Then install the bar on the boat. Total time to do this will be about 15 minutes. It took me about 7+ hours to get everything; pictures taken; children dropped off with their mother and picked up from school; and then finally cleaning of the area..... Long day and not the best DIY to start off with a boat.... However, a word of advice. If you are terrible with math, don't start this project without a calculator and if that isn't available, do do it.....Comment

Not quit done yet but after all that, just have to order a new bar and bolts. Not bad I think and looks really nice.

I had all the tools that I needed. Unfortunately, they weren't in the boat but on the side of it....
1. Crawl in,
2. wiggle into the cavity,
3. wiggle back out because the tool that you got didn't work the way you thought it would,
4. get too.
5. go back to step 1.Comment
