i have a quick question and would rather not just start a new thread...

i was putting my boat in the h2o today, and the alarm started going off.

i turned off the boat. checked the battery cables and sure enough, the possitive was a little loose...

but here's the thing... the wing nut was soo hot it burned my fingers.

does this make sense??? it that what caused the alarm? because it never went on again the entire 4 hours we were out today.

There must be something in the computer that can sense how stable the current is and it will trip an alarm if it isn't stable enough, that's my guess.

that's what i fugured, i was just shocked that it the wingnut was sooo hot that it burned my fingers. i mean with blisters and all.
