In Oklahoma, the weather men specialize in Spring Thunderstorms, and the damage they cause. For any major thunderstorm, there are probably half a dozen people on the ground in vehicles, in and around each storm, video running.

A tornado can spin up quickly, but 'round here, we have sometimes an hour advance notice of the potential, based on the storm's growth and path.

Not that I have a cavalier attitude; it is just that in the spring, you always have one ear on the good radio station with the best weatherman, and the video phone is on www.noaa.gov ....
