I have it cosmetically and mechanically good enough to go in. There is still some polishing and waxing, and I need to get the entertainment system put together, but that can be done at the dock.

I am a little curious; I got a new TV for the house, so I could move the old house TV to the camper, so I could put the little flat screen that is currently in the camper down into the boat.

GF has suggested several times that the old house TV should go to her house instead of the camper.

I have some 6" monitors I could put in the sailboat that she does not know about so I may go ahead and take the old house TV to her house. I think she would appreciate it.

You said waxing... Would that be of the gelcoat? Why would you put the boat into the water knowing that you might stain the gelcoat????

The hull sides and most of the top are done. There are just some small areas, like on the sliding hatch that still need a little attention. The spots I am talking are tiny...


Oh, and I started to wax the no-skid, but that is a big no-no...

Just sounded like you needed a lot more wax for some reason and why I asked. At the start of the season, we took the RZ2 out without a waxing and I can tell you that I have stains still that I am noticing. I do strip the wax that I have put on it only to put it back on after I get the stain out. But it totally sucks doing it but it is well worth the time and effort. Once done, it only takes about 30 minutes to clean the boat.

waxing no-skid zones should be illigal. We should put you in a war galley and make you do hard labor for waxing those areas.
