god I hate monday mornings. I just bought airfare to Green Bay today.....$650 a person.....man everything is getting crazy expensive

wow, $7.50!! By the time taxes and fees are added it get's very pricey to fly 2 adults and 2 kids around the country. That is almost double what I paid to fly back for the Playoff games in January

Jet fuel prices are soaring - faster than gasoline. Last March, jet fuel was $1.85 a gallon. This month, it hit $3.48. That's nearly double the price in just one year, CBS News correspondent Nancy Cordes reports.

"On top of that, it expeeds by three to four times the amount of profit this industry made in the last two years," said Jim May of the Air Transport Association.

Just a $1 increase in jet fuel can cost an airline an extra $60 million a year. Fuel is now the No. 1 expense in major airlines - more costly than employee salaries or the airplanes themselves.

I was in Carmel, CA this weekend and Chevron had gas at $4.07 per gallon. Thank GOD I didn't have to fill my tank up.

Hey, how was the wine tasting trip with the GF? Is she out job hunting today, or taking the day off to reflect and recooperate.

Wine tasting was really good. Had a lot of fun and didn't have to drive drunk.

The GF is looking this week for a new job. She is going to get a call from a company today about a job and we will look for jobs with the state this week. She will find one very quickly IMO.
