I don't envy you at all... I am trying to talk the GF into purchasing a $1000 boat alarm system to protect our boat.... Still trying to find the money somewhere.....
these security companies are a rip-off, they give you a cheap introductary offer but in order to do it right it will cost me thousands of dollars. We have 37 windows in our house, and each sensor after your initial free 3 is 79.99 each...............
gomer bull: bull used to detect cows in heat; bull may have his package surgically deviated to the side, may be treated with androgens, or may be vasectomized so as not to impregnate female; also called teaser bull
yikes..... ........alright GOMER.....try an shoot me then, your just shooting blanks from what I hear lol

You should have to put the sensors on the second floor of the house. What buglar is going to grab a ladder and climb thru a second floor window????? That burglar would be an idiot if he did.

Talk with the security companies and ask them their opinion. I personally wouldn't put sensors on windows on the second floor UNLESS there was an easier access to a specific window. (roof below window comes to mind)
