                              That's pretty much how I explained how it was done. The M/C manifold is nothing more then a 1 way valve that diverts the reverse water flow, when in "drain" mode, to a thru-hull drain and not back out the intake scoop. This stops the unwanted back-flow.

                              1 large checkvalve, 6 T's, and a few feet of hose, and you got it licked.
