Yeah, sailboats really make you think; how to get by for 50 amp-hours or less a day... and still have juice for cabin lighting, navigation, depth finder and associated electronics, the entertainment electronics, the blender and microwave....It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

I do have a gas grill that hangs on a stainless safety rail; so steaks cooking out over night is no big deal...It's not an optical illusion.

Darn thing has been in the shop for two weeks now, and I feel like I am getting nowhere on it at the moment, hence my desire to take the day tomorrow. I got a lot of parts in the mail yesterday, and planned on working on it last night, but stuff got in the way...It's not an optical illusion.

Originally posted by da.bell View PostI hear ya.... I finished waxing my boat and rearranged where the batteries are located for the stereo. But now I have to take the boat into the stereo people and tell them about the amps.... The tower speakers are cutting out every once in awhile. The amp cuts the sound off and the green light that is on it blinks. Then a few seconds later, the sounds are coming out the speakers again. It usually happens when I first start to play the music... Anyways, don't need any advise... Just relaying that there is a problem.... It wasn't the battery move that did this either. It has happened before when I have been plugged into the wall. On the lake, I have yet to encounter it... Come to think of it... It's only happening with a CD in the HU..... hum......It's not an optical illusion.
