I had to wait 4 months before I got into the house that I am in. The three previous outbidders dropped out and didn't want the house. I was persistant and finally got the house for the amount that I thought was right. The others were willing to pay more and the last owners wanted more money. Apparently, they were asking too much. So, today, my house is still worth what I purchased it for. Actually, it is a little bit more but I haven't taken the hit like some people have in CA.

your lucky!!! my mentor lost 130k and mine is looking at almost 60 now. I need to move before it hits over 100k and the co stops covering
