A lot of boaters just do not understand though that if you are goingto have a boat in the water for long periods of time that you need a barrier coat and an anti-fouling coat. The barrier coat to prevent blisters, and the anti-fouling to prevent marine growth. The bottom job on this boat is nearing the end of its life, so it needs replaced. Normal routine maintenance....It's not an optical illusion.
