I am SORE!!!!!
I never imagined hanging mini-blinds would be such an athletic activity.... I did all new window treatments for the lake camper this weekend.
The ex-wife had used burlap coffee sacks for curtains; it was campy-cute at the time, and we were sorta tight on funds, so it worked.
Now the crazy b*%ch is outta there, and I am trying to get rid of the last little remnants of here presence there. Besides, and you have to live with it to understand, burlap is a MAJOR dust problem; the stuff sheds all over the place, it holds odors, not to mention the odor it has on its own...
Burlap GONE!!!! mini-blinds in!!!!! Custom cut to length, no spare blades, everything just perfect, and even the "turney rod" was cut to length. Total custom installation. It only took SEVEN HOURS!!!!
It makes things feel lighter, more open, and larger. I should have done it last year. It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

Not the GF and I can spend a little time shopping, and we can pick out some new valence treatments to go over the new blinds.
It is almost lake season!!!! Two or three more weeks, and I am going to put the plugs back in the boat motor, re-connect the water to the camper, and start the season!!!!!It's not an optical illusion.
