The CPU Usage History was probably when you rebooted your computer but looks okay now...

maxtor drives are terrible IMO. They do not last very long 1-3 years at the most where I have gotten 5+ years out of a Western Digital HD.

I got one here...250gb for 20 bucks more then the seagate im looking at which is 40gb


And i never restarted my computer... thats just my normal CPU usage history.... here ill take another SS

nope normal operation.... the file that uses the most CPU is called SVCHOST and I know what it does.... and it just dominates the computer.

You might want to check the Processes to see what is going on and which application is doing that. Looks almost like a virus but again, I doubt that.
