no not that easy. Any fence that faces a road (which I didn't know b/c I didn't check my code) cannot be higher than 4ft. This meant that I had to cut my boards, 4x4's, and bring my cross beams down. It didn't cost money, but a SHI$LOAD of time....
Well, you had to lower it more than the normal foot that people usually think they have to work with.... Example: people think that they can put a 6 foot fence up and the hardware store has 6 foot posts. I have seen where the codes only allow a 5 foot fence.

next time I'm coughing up the cash to have someone else do it. Fences sux.......
Hence why I am having someone else do the fence this time. Took me away from boating last year and I feel that I would have the fence up in one day vice the two days it took me to install. Totally the entire way someone should go and have a professional do it...

if you have the money then paying someone is the way to go, but in OK the cost to pay someone was 4 times the cost of materials, so we did it our selves.
