Does the 04 have the 7.3? If so I would go with that. you can put an 06 from end on an 04. and the 7.3 is a proven engine, 6.0 is still new

it depends what you want da.bell

that long bed makes for one big truck, but lots of room.

the 6.0 is good in the 06. just make sure it has the long head studs, and you have a waranty as you will burn your turbo up for sure.

the 7.3 is the best engine, but it's not as efficient.

you will want to get a chip if you get the 7.3 and the 6.0 you will not need anything unless you want.
