let me get these pics of my bike mods I did last night posted up

I love making from scratch or the stock parts what people pay 86 bucks for

it looks good IMO

what do you guys think?

There is nothing more satisfying than manufacturing something on your own, having it work, and being able to do it for way less than what you can buy it for.

It is not so fun those times when you over-engineer something you think is not on the market, only to find it available three weeks later for a tenth the cost of what you put into your masterpiece...

Hey! I have news from the gym, on my eval.

Push ups: I measured in the excellent category
Crunches: I should have gone more quickly, but I measured reasonable
Treadmill: Heart rate and BP did not freak out, I was not feeling too stressed
Cholesterol was right on the money at healthy levels
Body Fat is way too highat 27%, but they target me to 211-211 pounds after drilling in, and down to an 18% body fat composition, (I think that sounds right).

The guys said all-in-all I was in pretty darned good shape for a 43-year old who had recently quit smoking and who had never been in a regimented exercise program a day in his life...

Still, 21 push-ups has my pecs a little sore, you all can laugh at me for that one....

I don't remember the last time I did a push up. It's been years that I have done more than 5 at one time. I am sure you are sore since we never really use them until we get ourselves into overweight issues.

I find certain similarities with other activities we enjoy... I think I will keep doing them, as it seems it will aid in endurance....

She might like seeing/feeling the definition in the pecs anyway....

cool thing for me is all it took was a dremel tool and a utility knife

i'll have a better from behind but it looks like the plate is "floating" behind my bike.
