Well sell me!!! Will the 620s cover up the holes I have for the 6.5" sonys? Screw pattern is .5" smaller.

They should cover; how would you know about screw pattern?

The hole cutout is standard 5" cupsaw, per every boat manufacturer. The frame has unique geometry that allows for the cone from a 6.5" to fit and work with the smaller hole cutout...

they should come with brackets so you can use any normal hole pattern. Least my Polks did

Oh, I shoudl share I wourk closely with folks who work closely with SONY.. I will be amazed if the hole cutout is not identical, and that the screws are a little further away from the edge of the hole, AND the 7" grill OD will cover any old screw holes...
