Got to get a lot of work done around the house today, yard work to but it's raining. I'm on call for Superior Court jury duty this week. Didn't have to report this morning. Will call tonight to see if I have to report tomorrow. If not, I think I'm done.

I served on our county court a few yrs back on a DWI case. We ended up hung (11 to 1 for guilty) because of some old man that had had a relative charged a few yrs back. He failed to mention that during the jury selection process.

I was sure on that one that I would be turned down because I was an insurance agent.

Very true. I was in the jury pool for one in San Diego about 8 years ago. It was a homosexual prostitution ring that got busted. However, I was sure I would have been kicked off the jury panel because I was former military. They kicked all the other former military personnel off the panel.
