Not quite the delay as there was this weekend. Green light came on and sound came out about 15 secs latter. Both amps lit up at the same time and cabin speaker start playing almost immediately.

Sunday, I was half way through filling a 700# sac and boom........the tower speakers came. I turned around to the wife and she is just sitting there like "what was that?"

check for a kitty hair whisker across speaker terminals, and check your power connections for oxidation. That kinda seems like a slower than normal circuit fault check...

question:

Is the 350.4 on its own fader, or are the RCA's in parallel and feeding another amp at the same time?

My reasoning is to try to determine if the silence is because of the amp, or because of something upstream..

I bought three albums; stuff I had as a teenager, back when we had these thin black discs called records. They went on a thing called a turntable. There was a tonearm that had a tiny little thing on the end called a stylus, with a little precious gem on the end. You placed the little gem into a groove on the black disc; basically a real long continuous spiraling canyon that wiggled. The rock wiggling in the canyon moved the stylus and it created a tiny electric current that was amplified, re-eq'd, then amplified again.

Half of the music was on one side of the disc, and half on the other, unless it was a really big "album" and had two discs, or records. If that was the case there were 4 sides, and a quarter of the music on each side.

That is how we used to listen to music...

I know what a record player is.....and when it gets worn out you put a coin on the needle to weight it down.

No faders yet, it gets it's own signal from the head unit.

No, replace the cartridge silly...

Stanton L500AL was the good one in my day, broadcast duty, with a replaceable needle. No coin required...

Yup, that's what you get when you play a country song backwards...

flip the RCA's at the back of the radio and see if symptoms stay, or move to a different amp.
