Battery life is something I have found to be disappointing, but when you go to the customer reviews, there is a tip, specifically turning the data packet to only when needed....

see I'm trying to figure out what a family plan costs with an iphone and the e6555. the 6555 is only 49.99 on the site, and I don't care that the iphone is 399. But I can't find out the options. IE, unlimited text and data for the e655 and then adding unlimited text to the iphone is 20 bones.
The site is great, they just have not updated it for buying the iphone on it and what not. Kinda of an error IMO since you have to buy the rate plan via itunes.

GF doesn't like this idea, but I told her it's the best bang for the buck, plus you can use it ANYWHERE!! she did like that idea. AND, since I have not got the cord yet, I cannot tell you if it charges via USB, but I can tell you that the E62 DOES NOT charge when conencted via USB. YOu have to have the wallwart charger or car charger with it...It's not an optical illusion.

yeah but when you throw the iphone in the mix it messes it all up. Like if you get the unlimited family plan with 700 minutes, and unlimited text/data it's 99.99 then you add the iphone data and text it's 40 more, I think.

right I know that, and that's the only part I hate. Unlimted text for family plans on t-mobile is per family plan, not per phone so it's nice. but oh well. I'm just seeing wha'ts out there.
