I was on the corner of Von Karman and Main in Irvine. It only took me 1.5 - 2 hours each way to get there. They still make me go down there twice a month.

Hate that drive, like the beer at the Pilsner room across the street though. Nothing like a Honey Blond ------ Beer that is

I'm down on Alton Parkway, behind the Spectrum Center. I stay at the Residence Inn off Jamboree and Main St. I agree with the Honey Blonde statement either way.

Indeed that whole Newport Coast/Irvine area is a different world from the rest of SoCal...and that's saying something.

The land of fruits and nuts goes to the extreme in that neck of Orange County...

Jim...it was a fun game just the same... I was just glad to eek out a win given the rest of the year.

You've got to eat at Wahoo's Fish Tacos.

I think there is one in the Irvine Spectrum.

The true Wahoos experience is to go to the one on Main street in Huntington and watch the world go by outside the windows... One of my favorite places to kill a lunch hour if I happen to be in that neck of the woods...

It's generally a taco filled with fish, cabbage sprinkled with lime juice etc... Good stuff to be sure. Usually served with black beans. You can also get the fish blackened or teriyaki. It's all good and pretty healthy to be sure...

Are you referring to the Taco Factory off of Sand Canyon, great place.
You also can't beat the Yardhouse for beer an local scenery.
