        Here are my top 5

        1. New ASR - nothing got conversation going like this did. It even killed an entire thread!

        2. Convex Vx vs NSS etc. - Wakeshaping devices in general were a hot topic with a lot of people having an opinion.

        3. Pricing - This was discussed a lot this year with people starting to indicate boats are getting ridiculous. I'm not sure the trends can continue for any manufacturer.

        4. New website - Hey - it was a nice switch

        5. I got my first Tige!!! Can't top that after waiting 4 years.

Here are some things I liked that were on here this past year:

          1) Duncan's Massive Surf flap (aka the Duffy Flap)
          http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...-2009-brackets

          - I have to vote it #1 for me personally because his thread inspired me to try Duffy's dimensions on mine and I have been VERY happy with it (all of Duffy's mods seem to work for me).

          2) I don't know him personally other than reading his threads but seeing dmbisbest find a sweet Tige and love it after the nightmare he had on the used one he bought.
The happy thread (vs the one he had trouble with)
          http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...ht=#post710976

          3) Stupid things I've done thread - 1 because I have done too many of them 2- because hopefully knowing about some of them will prevent me from adding to my ever growing list.
          http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...-(or-not-done)

          4) Broken Prop Puller thread - This should be higher on my list. It saved me big time. Thanks to WAboating for providing the method that got my stubborn prop off. Plus the instructions in Acme's prop puller settled the greasing before putting the prop back on debate (grease it).
          http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...me-prop-Puller

          5)
Gotta give a vote to Ewok's #2 - then poof he was gone.....

Sadly, the video can apply to his #1

I would ask why you think #4 was an improvement considering that you hung out in there and posted as well? For those that really know that was a great loss, from lots of knowledge and participation. Even with those posts out of the equation there used to be a lot more activity on here than there has been recently. There were / are lots of friendships that came about because of that thread. I have personally met a number of the guys that were because of it that thread. I travel for work and it is nice to know that you can go meet someone and already know them. Several of our wives had thought that we were nuts for meeting a stranger, we weren't strangers. We knew and cared about others in all aspects of their lives not just boating. I have received help / given help whether boat related or other that doesn't happen in the other threads, they just aren't as personal and you don't get to know other like you did there. It was in the off topic so it was not like it was interrupting the boat discussion. Many of us always had a window open to TO because of it and saw if someone had a quick question that they needed help on and we were able to be there quickly and get them on their way. It was nice to know that you could get a quick reply on an issue you were working on.

                Anyways mine:
1 - The VX - and those similar by owners
2 - ASR - From Announcement, reveal, to pricing and availability
3 - Search function was lost in translation
4 - Seems that TO's have lost that loving feeling - If you have been on here for a while you might understand
5 - Point system - Maybe that is a result of my #4

Looks like numbers 1-4 are describing your namesake's 1) Beneficial accomplishments as president 2) Major statements he makes other than LIES 3) What part of our constitution he believes in and supports 4) What will be left of the United States of America by the time he is through [destroying it]. Of course I should not be posting this in a Tige Owners forum, especially in my 2nd ever post--But then again nothing political is really appropriate, especially allowing a puke-provoking username like yours from another one of Obama's constitution- hating disciples. I am frankly surprised that there is not a thread on how inappropriate is to have a username that is anti-constitutional and what kind of a person you might be. Even most liberals at least say that they believe in our constitution. I don't know Matt Garcia from a hole in the wall, but for you to say HE is immature, coming from someone who thinks it is cool to mock our constitution-now that is what I call mature. It wouldn't surprise me if we found out you bought your Tige with the money you are getting from social security disability, food stamps, or selling obama phones. Probably the only reason that you have not been challenged thus far is because everyone who is not pro-obama is sick and tired of being called racist by the intolerant party supporters like yourself.

that is easy... yes I did go there at times... because a lot of times that was the only thread with any activity(keep reading). The down side to that, on google you could find tonz of skantily clad images of women tied to this site and probably not the best image for a boat MFG to be associated with. And as I said before, did not bother me to check out the hot chicks. But from a business standpoint probably not the best. I have NO issues with you skipp or anyone else that used that section. It became a chat board, not a forum at that point in that thread. And yes I was a guilty as the next guy in terms of using it increase my post count. shame on me. I have issues outting myself in terms of that. I think the difference is its tied to emotion for some. But if you logically step back it does make sense not to have it. Do I think the site has lost a "loving" feeling. Not really. I think if anything there are just better mediums for it. facebook, twitter, instagram, you name it. But I dont see anyone in that group posting to come on over and be apart of the brother hood of something bigger? if there was I missed it. There is not doubt that group has tonz of knowledge, but it does no good as well to just create a different site if the masses dont go to it and reap the value of what a lot of you guys know?
