I will clear the air on this.

I did not feel the PW (Post Whore) thread represented Tigé. When I first started this site in 2003 Tigé had requested that the site be family friendly. Since then nothing has changed. The content in that thread was questionable for years but I never did anything about it until now. What some of you guys don’t realize is that some of that content is showing up in certain search engine results that link over to TigéOwners.com and lets be frank here, you guys didn’t post pictures of flowers and bunnies. I don’t have the time or want to moderate that thread since it was used more as a chat system than a forum. Combine that with the fact that a dozen or so members only wanted to increase their post count. I realize that these members also contributed greatly to the site but it was also flooding the forum activity with quantity posts not quality.

I realize the value of the users on this site; it's what makes the community great here. So in turn I was open to create a chat feature specifically for these PW users but it was quickly dismissed that it wasn’t a good idea and as a result the users quickly turned away from the site without ever giving me a chance to create an alternative. My intentions were not to get rid of them but provide a good middle ground.

So there you have it. Hopefully that answers your questions.

What about only allowing members of a certain age access to a forum(such as PW thread)? Sportbikes.net has an entire nude biker chick section that only older members can access it and even then you have to dig to find the thread. oh and nonmembers definitely cant find it...

First and foremost, I don't think anybody can gets banned unless someone is extremely offensive or a spammer.

Does it really matter if anybody likes me? Honestly? Our (my) inner circle of friends does not include pretensions, self centered, self righteous, pompous, arrogant, cheap bastards like you and a handful of others on this site who thinks their schitt doesn't stink. You for one fit nicely in this crap basket. There's a hell of a lot of decent normal Tige owners folks out there, most of them don't eat, sleep and schitt 24/7 on the forum.

It's real simple Mr. Out Of Control, there's a lot of comradery and like mindedness on this site. So much as to inhibit anybody with an opposing view point.
This is to be expected with "click" groups who need to keep their tight circle of companions neatly woven into prestigious ideals for a sense of narcissism and emotional security. Adolescent middle school behavior is a good example this.

There is nothing wrong with what I wrote. I speak from the experience of owning an RZ4 and have been on an RZ2 several times. From what the man writes, he should buy an RZ4. End of story.
