What is Anti-Obama, a spray to wards off libs What does Anti-Obama trade under on the NASDAQ?

Seriously, that holds about as much water with me, as a company claiming to close the doors simply because Oblame'me was reelected. We are going to see more an more of those stories, rather then the storied about whats really going to happen.

A quote from the story. As it states, there still may be layoffs. So whats a 5% raise on no pay check?

The CEO said he believes his employees will need higher wages to deal with increased costs he expects everyone will face under Obama. And he's not backing off his prediction that developments like Obamacare and the Dodd-Frank financial regulations will hurt the economy in the years ahead -- and could lead him to make staff cuts eventually.

How is your business doing compared to 2008? How about dom's? I just keep hearing how jacked we are and Tige is selling more boats than ever...not saying that $16 trillion is ok either. $75k wakeboard boats are luxury items so some of us in the country are doing ok.

It's been a week now, time to move on and get back to the work that enables us to afford these nice things even if all signs point to some bad things ahead, just prepare for it in case it does.

people are spending money yes because we all have it.. But is money the counrty dont have.. We are handing it out and borrowing it from other countrys. But when the bill comes how we gonna pay for it? Before you know it we will be part of china and no longer be free!!! We are selling our freedom to them! Thank all the welfare people and mexicans making 10 kids and not being married in the US so they get all kinds of hand outs.. Yet again hand outs of money we dont really have to handed out! Its all gonna catch up to us Real quick!

I get sooo PISSED when I hear the story about China owning us. I wonder where do these people get their information? Fox News? Total

China DOES NOT own us people. We are NOT going to lose our freedom and Nobody is going to take your guns away.

              US Debt 101 for dummies:

Hong Kong: $121.9 billion (0.9 percent)
Caribbean banking centers: $148.3 (1 percent)
              Taiwan: $153.4 billion (1.1 percent)
              Brazil: $211.4 billion (1.5 percent)
Oil exporting countries: $229.8 billion (1.6 percent)
Mutual funds: $300.5 billion (2 percent)
Commercial banks: $301.8 billion (2.1 percent)
State, local and federal retirement funds: $320.9 billion (2.2 percent)
Money market mutual funds: $337.7 billion (2.4 percent)
United Kingdom: $346.5 billion (2.4 percent)
Private pension funds: $504.7 billion (3.5 percent)
State and local governments: $506.1 billion (3.5 percent)
              Japan: $912.4 billion (6.4 percent)
              U.S. households: $959.4 billion (6.6 percent)
              China: $1.16 trillion (8 percent)
              The U.S. Treasury: $1.63 trillion (11.3 percent)
Social Security trust fund: $2.67 trillion (19 percent)

So America owes foreigners about $4.5 trillion in debt. But America owes America $9.8 trillion.

I'm just not sure what to say to people that pull the "CHINA OWNES US" statement.

Oh yea!!! I remember. Say, "Above all Pictures".

A trailer and 6000 watts of Wetsounds stuff are not luxury's, their necessities.

Now a G25 is a luxury, but not sure what it buys you????????

I keep saying, we dont need politicians running the country, we need business people running the country. But thats the same old same old rederick. I figure...suck it up pay the proper tax to reduce debt. I love to see my personal loans over the years paid off. It just means more $'s available for special needs such as boats & stereos.

My buddy just bought a G23. But he's a farmer and laid off most of his crew because he couldn't afford Obamacare. He needed that G23 more.
                    Waiting for another good one!

Bobby Jindal, R Governor of LA sums up what he thinks the GOP needs to do in this article on CNN:
                        http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/15/opinio...html?hpt=hp_t3

1.Stop looking backward. We have to boldly show what the future can look like with the free market policies that we believe in. Conservative ideals are aspirational, and our country is aspirational.

                        2. Compete for every single vote. The 47% and the 53%. And any other combination of numbers that adds up to 100 percent. President Barack Obama and the Democrats can continue trying to divide America into groups of warring communities with competing interests, but we will have none of it. We are going after every vote as we try to unite all Americans.

                        3. Reject identity politics. The old notion that ours should be a colorblind society is the right one, and we should pursue that with vigor. Identity politics is corrosive to the great American melting pot and we reject it. We will treat all people as individuals rather than as members of special interest groups.
                        4. Stop being the stupid party. It's time for a new Republican party that talks like adults. It's time for us to articulate our plans and visions for America in real terms. We had a number of Republicans damage the brand this year with offensive and bizarre comments. Enough of that.

                        5. Stop insulting the intelligence of voters. We need to trust the smarts of the American people. We have to stop dumbing down our ideas and stop reducing everything to mindless slogans and tag lines for 30-second ads. We must be willing to provide details in describing our views.

                        6. Quit "big." We are not the party of big business, big banks, big Wall Street bailouts, big corporate loopholes, or big anything. We must not be the party that simply protects the well off so they can keep their toys. We have to be the party that shows all Americans how they can thrive. We are the party whose ideas will help the middle class, and help more folks join the middle class. We are a populist party and need to make that clear.

                        7. Focus on people, not government. We must stop competing with Democrats for the job of "Government Manager," and come up with ideas that can unleash the dynamic abilities of the American people. We need to lead the way with policies that can create prosperity. We believe in organic solutions, not big government solutions. We need a bottom-up government that fits the digital age. Right now we have an outdated centralized government trying to manage a decentralized economy.

Here's a good example: A Florida restaurateur who operates roughly 40 Denny’s locations and five Hurricane Grill & Wings franchises in Florida, Virginia and Georgia intends to add a 5 percent surcharge to customers’ bills to offset costs from ObamaCare beginning in January 2014 when the Affordable Care Act is fully implemented.

The people that serve our food are by no means lazy, they work as hard as I do. The only difference is the pay. Are they any better than me? I think not but some here think yes. This method puts health care cost off government medicare and back onto society spread equally among everyone. This makes a better society. Though 5% is outlandish, the true cost is closer to half that at 2.5%, thus this business owner is imposing excess to make a unfair statement. Are you willing to pay 2.5% for your breakfast lunch or dinner out to EVERYONE can now have health insurance?? What if the waitress was you daughter, your sister, your Aunt or your best friend? Or should health insurance only be for the fortunate few or privileged individuals?
