sunken boat

so a boat sinks in my local lake on labor day. peeps swim to shore get help, some get picked up out of the water. 3 weeks later boat cannot be found and is still on the lake someplace.

This is the kicker local DNR wont release what it is. or any details on the matter. Even when the story broke the people that it happened to refused to be on camera?

So my lake at its deepest point right now is only 17-18ft deep.

Been out numerous times.. dont ever see anyone looking for this.. so curious.. if I find it.. think I get to keep it? word on the street is its a 2011 tige?

yep at willard. There was a huge storm on labor day. from what i have read and the people i know sounds like its a 2012 MC that was out pulling two tubers in 6ft swells. and swamped it.

DNR wont say ****.. found out late yesterday I can do a grama request to find out what it is. we are just worried to go there and hit the damn thing. just amazed no body is looking for it.
