Macworld Expo

I'm taking my son to the Macworld Expo. In San Francisco Wed. 01/11/06. He has always wanted to go. It should be a good time. Will there be any other Tigeowners there with us?

I'm trying to decide if we should take the BART or rent a car. We will be flying into Oakland and the convention is at the Mascone Center in San Fran. The rental car is about $30 through Enterprise. It seams like the BART is the better solution. Anyone have an idea or experience?

Not having lived there...but I used to travel to San Francisco pretty regularly, the Bart is a great option and takes you within a block from the Moscone center if memory serves.

I think the BART is the way to go now. We found out parking @ the MasconeCenter is $20. That makes the $30 rental car $50. I think the whole BART/Bus thing is under $20.

Made it back. Had a great time! There was a lot of product there, and I didn't spend too much $. It will take awhile to sift through all the info. I picked up.

The strangest item I saw was also for the ipod. I just can't imagine using the ipod in this way.

I noticed there are a few more Mac guys, on this forum, since last year.

It should be another good time. I wonder what new product they will debut. I'll bring the camera and see what happens.

Should be a good show again this year. I live a short BART ride away, yet I've never been...and I'm a Mac guy. One year I'll get over there.

My bet they debut a iPod phone of some sort this year.

I have been a few times with my Father ( Huge Mac fan) years ago. Now, I enjoy watching the Keynote @ home in comfort...

The rumor on a few Mac forums is that Mac will have or show a Ipod phone in conjunction with a major cell phone network.

The new machines are awesome! best of both worlds....

I have seen those Ipod Toilet Paper Dispensers in Sky Mall. Way to be a good father and take your son to that. I am sure that he will remember that forever.

It should be another good time. This is our second annual. Jet Blue makes the whole thing possible. $49 each way.
