Here are a few pics of our son's new house, he closed on it a couple of weeks ago. He took advantage of the 8k first time home owner tax credit, that we all chipped in 
and found a short-sale. It's in a newer neighborhood and was built in 08. It has never had an actual owner, as the deed was still in the builder's name, but did have some renters for about a year. It's 3 BR, 2.5 Bath, finished bonus above the 2 car garage, blah blah blah 
Other then some painting and minor cosmetics, the house is in great shape. The yard is neglected, so we will start on that come Fall.
