I think you need to add a stereo system and a big flat screen

It has a built in stereo and speakers in the ceiling in the bedroom and a few in the living room/kitchen. The boat will normally be near to take care of that tho

Mike or ET, how did the kicker subs sound when you ran 3 of them? The 2 in the back under the seats. Were they pretty muffled out with the seat on? Was it pretty beneficial to the whole system with them, or is it that noticable? David makes it sound like it'd be a waste of time to try anything but under the helm or observer seat. Iwndr what 2 L7's in ported boxes would sound like in my rear ski locker on another 1000/1 slash Not that I want to put 2 L7s in my boat, along with the w7. Although that'd be cool

If you are only running a single setup, and its stowed, then yes, a good portion of its output is stifled. When you do multiple subs like wee did, you get the music contribution from the primary, direct-radiating, then the other(s) becomes a boat-shaker. This was our goal with placing the two Kicker SMK10's under the rear corner seats, as well as just having them there to show off the product.

It would not sound much like anything, but will absolutely rattle the boat

Yea, the boat shaker would be badass IMO. How taxing would 2 1000/1's, and 3 syn4s be on my system. I have a 140 amp alt, but it was a 70 that they bought brand new and rebuilt it to be a 140 amp. Im not really interested in adding a v pulley or anything like that, but I am thinking about adding 2 more group 29 batteries. I wouldnt rely on the alt to recharge, as Ill be shore charging overnights.

Adding another 1K/ could add another 50A draw to the system. As it is now, I would avoid bringing the house bank on line with the alt if you have run those batteries down. You may be closely approaching a stand-alone battery bank.
