I have used my fingernail and also a plastic scraper.

X2, and then maybe a little goo gone to get the sticky off

A heat gun works better than a blow dryer. Never was able to get the lower heat to work very well. I may have been impatiant.

1000 or 1500 grit would take care of that wouldnt it? Then buffing the chit out of it.

Personally I am not as confident in my wet sanding and buffing to do it myself. Now I buffed my boat but that was different.

Harbor Freight has them for 17.00 bucks. Thanks for the offer tho. It'd be a hastle getting it up here to borrow Im sure. I want to get these things off soon.

You cant get confident tell you get started I think it'd b pretty hard to f it up just using 1500 grit.

What are you going to be putting in?

Not sure yet, hopefully I'll get enough to upgrade my tower speakers. Maybe upgrade my 10" sub to a 12". I know a guy that owns a car and marine audio store here in town, I just to go in and talk to him.

Throw a 13w7 under the helm and a 1000/1 amp on it.
