I hope the procedure goes well and here progress continues

so I finally sent my Syn6 and 420 back to wetsounds to have them checked out
they took apart, cleaned up, and tested the 420...the aux input is now working properly (hopefully was just dirty connections), but the mic input is dead and it would cost more to repair than it is worth...so I'll just keep living without use of the mic
the Syn6, however, was said to have some bad channels and lots of static on it...repair is $150 and takes 6-8 weeks, but they offered to swap it out for B-stock unit for that same price with immediate turnaround
so hopefully my system will be running decently again this summer
Sounds like a little good news.

definitely a lot better than having to purchase a whole new amp
at least better on the wallet
At that point, there are better options. an HT-4 is more power for the in-boats and HT-2 about the same to a 4 ohm sub and about the cost of a Syn-6. Or an IX500.4 and IX500.2 All Class-D, small, etc.

Yeah, I had already planned to call you and figure out a new approach if WS couldn't repair or replace the Syn6 at a pretty good price.
Dammit, Mike, between their good customer service, and my blind azz luck with pimp prizes at the reunions, you keep losing potential sales to me
Sorry, I don't have any pics handy...will have to dig some up. I haven't even figured out the price yet - guessing around $45k - $50k range but not certain.
