I have not seen the lead bags so I can't speak for them but I love mine. I only have 240lbs. But they are nice to move side to side to clean up the wake.

Ive never been skiing or snowboarding so its hard to say how fun Ill have. If I suck for 3 days then we leave, it wont be that much fun
I dont even have any gear to wear out there but Im sure itll be a good time regardless. I cant wear wranglers and a button up work shirt snowboarding

Id like to throw a few bags in the nose possibly, and the rest in the ski locker to even out the weight of the batteries and subwoofer and box. Then use ballast behind the motor and a bag in the walk thru

Academy has ski bibs or pants. Nylon. And a ski parka. You will be surprised as it does not seem as cold as you may think. Get some ski gloves too. Now days everyone wears a helmet to keep your head warm. Probably will get one where you rent your skis.
