Hmmm, for some reason I was thinking it needs to b on the starboard side. How far below the run rail is his ?

Can't say for sure, never paid attention to that detail. He has a 24V, I know he can reach it while hanging off the swim deck.

I would think s long as its sealed, should be no problem.
