Just read that thread Halfwatt. I just can't help but think he may have went way overboard. Seems like some fiberglass 4 -6 inches around the entire bottom edge of the deck would give you the same result. Isn't the goal just to eliminate the outer lip? Wish there had been some before & after pics.

I'm thinking that should I do mine, it will be with foam and fiberglassed in. Keep it lighter weight and since I love glass work.

The goal is to remove the lip from dragging so one has to get figure out the point at which the platform interferes with the wake and add the filler from there. As I understand it, my deck will interfere a lot more than yours, so I'm looking at the entire platform.
