          Cut out and the edges sanded. Took a long time to cut with jig saw, but it didn't melt much at all and it didn't crack

            Chp, you said 2" border like what I've got right? Then you start got gluing the LEDs on every few inches? I'm unsure on how to solder the wires on after I cut the first strip

                  You could probably open the center up a little but more is you wanted. This would allow for a longer strip, thus more LEDs.

                  I would also radius the corners. This makes it easier to lay the strip and as its not rounding a 90* square corner. You can use a 1" hole saw at each corner to cut your radius, then use your jig saw to connect the holes.

                  Give me a minute to upload a pic of the strip with the wires soldered on and I will explain how I do it.

                        You think like 1" thick cut out then? And Ill use a hole saw like u said, thatll be alot easier. I just dont want it to be to thin and break. More LEDs is always better tho
