All the shops are sold out, most for sale by individuals are 2+ times retail. Ammo shelves are empty...

My son was somewhere the other day and the ammo shelves where bare. What they had was 2x the price of what it was before.

I've heard $1 per round for .223

The ammo shelves are bare here too. The AR's are 1700 and up. If you can find one. Academy gets a truck in 3 times a week. There is a line of people starting to line up at 4am and all new stuff sells out quick. I was able to just before all went wild pick up 2 AR.s at 1k each. Got to cases of 7.62 for the ak. Bought all the .223 ammo walmart had. 54 boxes. Got 1000 rounds of 40cal and 9mm as well as some other bullets. There is not even a 22 bullet to be had. I think I have a lead on a Saiga 12. Shop is supposed to get a few in at $699.00.

AR items are sold out here in my area of KY also. Went to the gun shop last week and had to wait 30 minutes just to get up to the case to look at the 9MM pistols. Speaking of the AR's, has anyone seen the new magnesium lowers for AR-15's on gun broker? I designed that item for a friend of mine and he just put them up for sale in the last week and he said he is selling about 1 every two hours.
