I paid 1500 bucks for my old JL system and then I buy a 100 dollar system and its just as loud Everything was tuned in and everything. The SQ was probably better with the JLs but I couldnt believe how loud the Alpines are

JL's are very musical, but boundary-loading has its advantages. Execution goes a long way.
