I've been offered 3.5% on a 30 year note but they can't roll in my HELOC at that rate. So I'm staying right where I'm at until they will. My current rate is 4.2% and my HELOC is adjustable so it's very small. I thought I wanted it fixed before economy turns around, but looks like I got another 4 years before I have to worry about the economy getting better

They offered us 2.75% and we pay part of the closing costs. I ran the numbers and it would take 11 years to make up the out of pocket closing costs on the lower monthly payment. Needless to say we chose the 2.99% rate lol.Comment
