He rode twice on a set of EZ Ski's and said he was ready to wakeboard. He got up his 3rd or 4th try with my wife in the water helping him get up. It took 2-3 trips for him to really start getting it.

Don't waste your time or money on a boom unless you want them to barefoot. Get some EZ Ski's and encourage the kids to play on the wakeboards as much as possible. Give them a handle and pull them around in the grass. Both of my boys can Ollie my board and get it completely off the ground.

Skateboards are good for balance but require a lot of assistance on your part. A Razor scooter is really good as well.

Thanks for the advice. Both my 4 and 2 year old love playing around on my skateboard and they are pretty good on scooters too, sounds like I'm heading in the right direction, and I guess I won't need a boom.

I still need to find those other 2 plugs on the motor. I think I found them, I just dont know how to get on them because they look like it takes a huge hex head or allen wrench. I figured itd be a pipe plug that you could just get a crescent on

If it has a little tank on top of the motor filled with automotive antifreeze and a pressure cap like a car. I think the 6.0's are because of their aluminum heads.

Yep. Sounds like you are! I really thought about a boom and had several people recommend it but I think it's just a waste of time and money. Last year we tried to get Madden up but he just wasn't quite strong enough for his body. He's a really big kid for his age. He had a hard time holding on to the handle when pulling him up out of the water.

I really think the EZ Skis and just playing on the wakeboards made a huge difference.

Yup, and it has like you said a heat exchanger with a bunch of coils inside that tube. It has antifreeze and an overflow in the tube and I suppose the water goes thru the coils. How do you get the water out of that?
