There is an ad that airs on the radio that I really don't care for. It is one about paying for college. Romney cutting and saying to ask parents. Obama adding government help. First question where is that money coming from to add so that all can go to college? Second I don't see what is wrong with asking parents. i.e. I knew that my parents couldn't / wouldn't help me and it was up to me to work hard to get good grades to try for a scholarship. Unfortunately, I did not end up with much help so I worked all through school and only took classes that would help me. I never failed or had to retake any classes. Those that I knew that were getting government help, not all but many, took classes that were "fun" and didn't care if they failed or had to retake classes. It wasn't their money. Some have even become life students so that they are taken care of.Comment
