Took a 4% indirect pay cut yesterday. Even though our biz unit is performing at record levels, the other units are not and "cuts had to be made" so they axed our 401k match for 6 months. Good thing we are busting our butts at this office. Just waiting for Jan 1 when the raises come out and they say 0% for the 3rd time in 6 years. If I didn't really like the work that I am doing, I would be packing up and moving on.

Hopefully things will get back to an upward trend soon!

Five, I said I would never own a 24 because I trailer. I've talked 4 different people who have demoed it, one who's a serious wakeboarder. He also works at a dealer who sells Nautique and Malibu, so he put 30+ hours on a G23 this year. After two days last week, he says 24 MXZ is as good or better. I hope to have some video sometime today.

Thanks Timmy. I've never had any sort of surgery so I'm hoping that's not what's needed. I hate the thought of paying for a MRI even but I think it's needed. We just changed insurance so I'm not real sure what it's going to cost.

I felt like it had healed well after the initial injury. It had been almost 2 months and it pretty much stopped bothering me. The way I reinjured it the 2nd and 3rd time was kinda strange. Both times were on heelside jumps where I lost the handle and just didn't ride it out. For some reason, once I dropped the handle, I landed in the flats as just kinda gave up. I ended up sliding with my back to the boat, caught the heelside edge and did a back buster with my arms flying up over my head.

It didn't bother my right shoulder but killed my left.

Go with the 24! I have heard nothing but good things about it. Plus those storage pictures you posted were awesome. Also the 24 is in the running for next boat we get depending on how clean the wake is at 22mph.

My oldest just turned 5 and has been wakeboarding now for a little over 3 months. I started him at 14ish and have been bumping him up each time out. He's riding between 18.6-19mph now. I just don't see any good coming out of him riding much faster at this point.

At 18+ I can get the wake clean on one side or the other by shifting weight to that side or making a slight turn in that direction. He doesn't like a washed wake and usually won't even approach it when it's washed.

It's not a big deal but I do feel like he would improve a little faster and not be such a heelside hero if both sides were clean. Size is also a bit intimidating too. The wake is pretty large. In fairness to Tige, I think the exta batteries I have in the very back make this a lot more difficult, though I have compensated with a lot of extra bow weight.

He looks good out there! I understand, I have young riders at comps happy to see the wake clean up at slower speeds.

I was effing STOKED to go on my wife's insurance once we got married. It is about 100000x better than mine was and it costs less per month for the 2 of us than it did just for me on my employer's plan. One of the perks of her working in the healthcare industry!

I will, not sure how he's going to send it. Yesterday I was offered to visist the plant and demo, but I don't guess we'll make the trip since my son can't ride.

Houston definitely get a 2nd opinion on your shoulder. I didn't get one on mine when I first hurt it. Well about 15 months later I found out that I had broken it. So when they inevitably had to do surgery to fix it, it was MUCH worse than expected. The supposed 2 hour surgery ended up taking 4.5 hours.
