Hey Mike, have you had any luck extending the USB out of the back of the Clarion head units? I want to replace the 1/8" jack below my TT with a USB but I can't find a good combination of USB cables to work.

Hey Mike, have you had any luck extending the USB out of the back of the Clarion head units? I want to replace the 1/8" jack below my TT with a USB but I can't find a good combination of USB cables to work.

I extended the USB on an Alpine 118M in an MC X80 from the head to remote USB socket on the helm with a 10ft extension cable with no quality loss.

I used a 6ft USB extension cable between an Alpine 9886M and a remote USB socket on a 21ft Sea Pro. Head-unit was overhead in the electronics box and the remote socket was on the helm. Again, no quality issues.

I have a dual socket that has 3.5mm AUX and USB together. I also use some USB only and 3.5mm only.
