Looks whats happening locally in our state alone. While our state ranks among other countries in terms of the worlds largest economies we are losing "big business" left and right. Comcast is pulling over 1000 jobs from the state. The CEO came right out and said "The cost of doing business in this state is too much". Campbell's Soup just announced last week, they are closing their plant in California, why? Take a wild guess. VSP (one of the world's largest vision health plans) is based right here in Sac. They are negotiating with the state, but very close to just pulling out also. This will lead to well over 1000 jobs. There is one common explanation to all three of these companies and it's not because the gov't isn't spending enough.
