You guys are awesome I went back and read the job description again. Wrote down some key words they were wanting like communication, independent, and working under sressful situations, all that I feel Im really pretty good at. Definately wrote down all your guys' ideas to. Very helpful

That's a job discription for lots of jobs. However the welding, construction, skills trade and automotive jobs are that way.

Its actually a step in the other direction. Im not satisfied with being a welder for ever with no growth in my company. Its for a pipeline controller job. Business casual and monitoring and controlling a pipeline. I really do want this job alot because I'd b 5 minutes from the house. Could get to the gym, and most of all, go back to school and get a Bachelors so I can really grow with Koch. Thats the big plan anyways

Koch is a huge company in this area. I am sure that would be a great job and a good foothold to start. Is the pay as good? As you well know, welding can be a hot trade. If this is a factory type job all those "catch" words are important but so will saftey and awareness of everything in the area.

Your reason for wanting the job sounds like a good first reason to give. But expand it from there.

Idk what the pay is and skippa said not to ask. I make 29 now so going to 15 would not probably be doable for me. But 22-25 would b ok to start since Im trying to see the big picture. I've got a PM from the guy looking to buy an RZ2, I was not really looking to sell, just gave him some numbers on what I would be looking for if I was going to sell. I think 62 might have been a low number because the NADA price does not include the trailer. I also don't know what I would get to replace the RZ2 at this time. I would love a new RZ2 but without Tige Touch and without the bow cooler.

You usually never know what the pay is. And its a real touchy area duing an iterview but they may ask you what you currently make.
