bryce, I did see that Phoenix winch build on WW.

That guy wants a LOT of money for his winches. I build a mini chopper from scratch with identical parts to a which except the spool. I'll be building my own winch.

Yup, true story. This chopper started as a 20' length of 1" gas pipe.

Not the sharpest video, but it's me... about 10 years ago.

This chopper is long gone. I gave to my neighbor kid who totally effed it all up.

It was fast though. I think on GPS I had it up around 40. With only 1-2" of clearance and a rigid frame it would throw sparks
