I'm actually considering selling my leased Golf and getting that old '86 golf running finally. Would only take about $400 to get it done and back together.
That would be a sight, me rolling into work in an '86 golf, parking next to the Drs. in Jags, Audi's, BMWs, oh and one Bentley

Many do. Some even spend more than paycheck to paycheck.
One friend is hot about buying a new boat this winter. I keep pushing him.
My brother finally got his XStar back from the shop, but his son is now riding his girlfriend's MB on the weekends too. It's getting better and with the new new boat next summer, I'll be off the hook.
I'm still prepared to be an arsehole about the fuel though.
