It's weird, we bent the prop way back in May or so and since replacing it, I noticed a little vibration from time to time but nothing major. Recently, it started vibrating more and the last time out, it was pretty bad.

I'm guessing we bent the shaft when the prop was damaged and it eventually wore out the strut seal.

And a popped radiator (another common one) front oil seal also - not too common though.

stretching head bolts is another issue with the 6.4 only when tuned though
      Waiting for another good one!

I am not so sure they were rumors since the dealer told all of us the same thing.

That's why my engine is 100% stock still, I suppose. Knock on wood, but 0 issues in 65k miles.

I dropped it off at the dealer last Tuesday. He sent me the quote on Wednesday and Boat US approved it on Thursday. I just emailed the dealer. They started tearing it down and installing the parts today and said they should be water testing early next week.

I don't doubt that is what happened. I'm just saying that word was going around. And he seems to have slunk off quietly.

I guess I missed that thread. I'm guessing he followed the thread for a bit, got embarrassed and just decided not to post any more. Anyone know what the outcome was? I'm guessing he had to pay for the repairs.

Mine is too now. The radiator may or may not have been related to the tune, but I can say it wasn't an issue for the 12 months I had it tuned. It was found about 12 months after I removed the tune and returned to stock.

The dealer offered him several options but I have no idea what route he went. Dealer offered to pay for the original rim that came off along with labor to fix the brakes etc... that got messed up. Dealer offered to pay his insurance deductible.
